Creative Ways To Facilitate Creativity Coaching

By Tom Binns

Learning to think of what other people wouldn’t normally think of is a gift that can be borrowed. Even if you’re not exactly an innovative person it isn’t the end of the world. Being creative means you have to be ready to break down existing barriers of thought to pass on to a f

uture of innovation. There aren’t a lot of people who think creatively and that’s why some people need creativity coaching. Work places are competitive places nowadays and it would be useful for someone to think differently.

Confined thoughts die in a mental prison if they’re not released on time. Learning to express your thoughts to people is a good way to improve your creativity and liberate your mind. But when thoughts are suppressed for some reason or another they get to a stage where they are crippled and unable to emerge. To make this a little easier it would help to express your thoughts to a friend you know would openly receive them.

Exposing yourself to different opinions and learning material will definitely enhance the way you think. The brain usually takes out what it is fed. Therefore, with time one should watch different movies; listen to different music and even read something new. Once your brain gets used to diversity it too will start thinking differently.

Play games with children and observe the things they do. But don’t just sit and watch, you have to participate and learn to see things the way they see them. Children have a powerful imagination; a lot can be learned from kids.

Hang around creative people and tackle problems together with them. This will slowly put you in the ‘why, how and when’ state of mind where thoughts roam free like wild grass in virgin flames.

Move around with a pen and notebook wherever you go. Chances are that you will think of something innovative that would have slipped your mind if you hadn’t jotted it down. Most of the people who’re popular for creativity are simply good at taking careful note of their thought.
