Network Marketing: A Work-from-Home Opportunity That’s Perfect for Writers
If you’re a writer, network marketing is one of the best ways I know of to support your growing career.
Here’s what I know about the movie, television, and publishing industries:
1) They require, on average, a 10-year commitment – and that’s
2) If you do become a professional writer, you will forever be working on your craft; and
3) There will always be a slush pile full of the work of other writers who want it just as much as you, are visualizing just as hard as you are, and are just as determined to break through as you are (unless you’re Stephen King, in which case, you’re not reading this).
Just under two decades ago, I made up my mind that what I wanted to be when I grew up was a professional writer. In that time, I have:
1) optioned screenplays;
2) had work developed for the big screen by A-list prod. co.s;
3) have been published in major magazines, newspapers, and how-to guides;
4) have spearheaded multi-million-dollar advertising campaigns; and
5) have launched companies that help writers take their careers to the next level.
Earlier this year, I had my first HUGE industry breakthrough when a book that I was asked to contribute to became an Amazon #1 Bestseller. In eight different categories.
Today, I am in the process of negotiating a contract with a NY lit agent who has more bestsellers to his name than I know how to count.
In spite of all of that…
Writing is a fickle profession. After nearly two decades of making my living as a versatile writer, I’ve become very adept at finding ways to feed my habit so I’m not dependent on what’s going on in the world of film and publishing in order to make a living.
That’s why I’m so excited to have found yet another way to make a living using my writing talent that leaves plenty of time for me to pursue more creative projects.
If you’re a writer or creative person who is looking for a way to support yourself, keep your writing skills sharp, and live a very comfortable life, network marketing could be perfect for you.
Often referred to as the MLM industry, network marketing is a sound business concept that has taken a few punches recently. But this industry has grown, and, thanks in part to the Internet, has started to distinguish itself from the bad press.
(Warren Buffet is a network marketer. Need I say more?)
In fact, network marketing makes more millionaires every year than any other industry.
If you’re thinking about starting a work-from-home business, you’re thinking big. In fact, I can’t think of any other profession that is not dependent on how the market performs, what’s going on in the European Union, etc., etc. That’s because the thing with MLM is, when the economy is good, network marketers make a great living. And when the economy is bad, network marketers make a great living.
Is network marketing right for you? To answer that question, I suggest you start here.
